In 2001 God promised that He would help me live out my passion for children. Being a mom myself, I saw the importance of early childhood development first hand. I am qualified as a teacher, school counselor, remedial therapist as well as a child and play therapist and did not want to work in a practice anymore. In 2003 I started a small school (Kleinkind) with a handful of students and in 2004 a passage in the Bible guided me to buy a house, but nothing worked out. After we stopped looking, an estate agent, with whom I had not made contact, called me. The house she showed us, was right from every aspect. It was, however, very neglected. Within 3 weeks the house was painted, the roof fixed, tiled and painted, the garden re-done and a playground installed. I prepared 2 classrooms and employed another staff member, because 10 children were enrolled. The evening before we started, I saw that there were 5 children on the waiting list for the next year. What a shock! God, however, provided for us and within 6 days there were enough children enrolled for 2 classes.
